CrystalVault is designed as an offline-first iOS app for managing a personal crystal collection. We do not require an account, and we do not operate a backend service for syncing or storing your collection.
Information you add to the app
You may add crystal photos, custom names, notes, tags, vibe ratings, purchase details, storage locations, wishlist items, personal catalog entries and estimated values. This information is stored locally on your device by the app.
Your device backups (iCloud or computer) may include this data, under Apple's own policies.
Camera and photos
If you choose to add photos, CrystalVault uses the camera or photo library access that you grant through iOS, and asks only when you add a photo of a specimen. Photos selected or captured for your collection are stored locally on your device for use inside the app. They are never uploaded.
Data collection
CrystalVault does not collect personal information on our servers. The app does not use third-party advertising SDKs or third-party analytics SDKs, and does not track you across apps or websites.
Purchases
CrystalVault Pro is an optional one-time in-app purchase. Payments are processed by Apple. CrystalVault does not receive or store your payment card information.
Exports and sharing
CSV exports and shared vault cards are created on your device and go only where you choose to send them.
Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your locally stored collection data with third parties.
Deleting your data
You can delete collection entries inside the app. You can also remove all locally stored app data by deleting CrystalVault from your device.
Children's privacy
CrystalVault is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app does not require an account or backend storage, collection data remains on the device.
This website
This website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking scripts. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts and the 3D viewer library from jsDelivr, which receive standard request information (such as your IP address) to deliver those files.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app changes. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new last updated date.
